The May luncheon meeting of the Toledo Intellectual Property Law Association will be held at the Toledo Club on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
We are very pleased to announce that our featured speaker will be Mr. Richard L. Ferrell from Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Ferrell will discuss patent and intellectual property asset acquisitions from distressed businesses, and structuring and preserving acquisitions for maximum value and minimum exposure. He is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Ferrell focuses his practice on complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, loan restructurings and work-outs for distressed businesses and insolvencies. He also specializes in Article 9 dispositions and debtor and creditor rights, including representation of corporate debtors, creditors committees, secured and DIP lenders, commercial real estate and equipment lessors and various trade creditors.
